Practices For Sazman Group,
Sazman Group, including its
subsidiaries Sazman OEM (Pvt)
Ltd, Sazman Sports Works and
Sazman USA, Inc. (“the
Companies,”) do not
engage in or condone the unlawful
employment or exploitation
of children in the workplace.
Further, the Companies do
not engage in or condone the
use of forced labor.The
Companies do not employ persons
below the age of 15, or the
local minimum employment age
or mandatory schooling age,
whichever is higher. Some
subsidiaries have a higher
minimum age.
The Companies are committed
to working in cooperation
with their suppliers and business
partners to gain their understanding
and acceptance of responsibility
for not engaging in or condoning
the use of forced labor or
the unlawful use or exploitation
of children in the labor market.
The Companies are committed
to working with other stakeholders
to find practical, meaningful
and culturally appropriate
responses to support the progressive
elimination of the use of
forced labor and the unlawful
or exploitative use of children
in the labor markets related
to our business supply chain.The
Companies endorse the need
for appropriate international
and national initiatives to
establish and enforce requirements
for a minimum working age
and standards against forced
labor. We also support efforts
that provide access to education
and adequate safeguards and
protection for children and
young people who are lawfully
employed.
To implement these commitments,
the Companies will commit
resources, institute appropriate
management systems, accountabilities,
monitoring processes and regular
reviews to ensure progress
against our objectives and
to establish mechanisms for
problem identification and
remediation where appropriate.
